Gary spent many years in the Washington DC metro area playing in corporate settings, as well as weddings and an originals project, including a modern country band. He is noted for his versatility and fluency in many styles, while his love of R&B and jazzy pop music and its great bassists, such as James Jamerson and Chuck Rainey, have been the biggest influences on his playing style mastering Funk, Rock, Reggae, Jazz and R&B.
